Matt McCune
Meet Our Founder
Matt McCune brings years of professional experience across the financial services and insurance industry — but what sets him apart is his heart. After years of watching underserved families being ignored, misled, or sold policies that didn’t truly serve them, Matt made it his mission to change the narrative.
He founded McCune Financial Group to give everyday families the same level of care, strategy, and protection that’s often reserved for the wealthy. His vision? A world where no family has to start a GoFundMe when tragedy strikes because they were equipped in advance.
But Matt’s commitment to service doesn’t stop with families.
He is also the co-owner of Rover’s Ranch, a small, personalized dog kennel established in 1969. With a focus on comfort and care, Rover’s Ranch provides dogs with climate-controlled spaces, secure indoor/outdoor runs, music to soothe them, and expansive play yards for exercise and fun. The facility is located on Matt’s property, where he and his team ensure the animals are always safe, relaxed, and well-loved.
In addition to running the kennel, Matt actively volunteers at local animal shelters reflecting his deep compassion not just for people, but for all living things.
Matt is known for his calm leadership, honest conversations, and unwavering dedication to changing lives — whether that life belongs to a person or a pet. To him, this work is not about numbers. It’s about people. It’s about families. It’s about impact. And with every policy placed, every family helped, and every dog cared for, Matt continues to build something that lasts.
